As a native of the great state of Indiana, Sam found his way to running by way of a career ending baseball injury his sophomore year of college. Fast forward two years and he was a member of the Redpack at Wabash College. Since then, he has just kept running, and where he will stop, no one knows. He is a firm believer that if he can do it, so can you. Sam was the first PB County resident to cross the line at the Boston Marathon in 2015 with an amazing finish time of 2:37! We hope to see Sam reach the Olympic qualification standard. Sam is with the DBRC as a Fit Technician since 2014.
Becky lives by the rule “slow and steady.” Embracing the Galloway Method, she’s completed 100 mile ultramarathons, Ironman triathlons, and a week-long self-supported ultramarathon stage race through Utah and Arizona. Joe is a firefighter and certainly one of Delray Beach’s finest! Joe has completed Ironman Triathlons, 100 mile races, multi-day endurance challenges, ultra-distance obstacle courses, and anything that comes his way as a challenge.
Recent: Rocked a Saturday 50k (8th Overall) then a Sunday half marathon of 1:39!

Dawn Lisenby has been running for the past 12 years. After beginning with road running, she soon began trail running, the longer the better, and fell in love with ultra running and its community. This past year she completed her first 100. She is a certified level 2 Newton Running Form coach and a Lydiard Level 2 running coach. She is also a 1000 hr certified yoga instructor. She works as a running and strength coach at RunNaturalCoach. For the past 8 years she has been the RD for the Jacks 50k. She is sponsored by Pearl Izumi, Trail Toes and Skratch Labs. It is her aspiration to qualify next year for the Hardrock 100!

Ultra Marathon/Extreme Endurance
What can we say about Traci that hasn’t been described by others as “Amazing?” The protégé of celebrity coach Lisa Smith-Batchen, a few of her memorable races to date are the Xterra Mountain Ultra Series races in Colorado, the Donna 110 Ultra in Jacksonville, FL, the Keys100 and Desert Rats 148 mile Stage Race through the desert of Utah. Crazy!
Mario began his athletic pursuits as a surfer – and a really good one at that. He transitioned to triathlon and has become a fierce competitor. Mario has his sights on Kona and we doubt anything will stand in his way!
Mark recently completed his first 100 mile ultra-marathon at The Keys 100. Mark is well-known in the ultra/trail running community and is a tough competitor, especially in brutal climates.
Whether she is closing a million dollar real estate deal in Delray Beach or zooming across the line at the Boston Marathon, Allyson is dedicated to anything she does, giving 100%, and enjoying each step along the way.
Betsy runs 4-5 times per week and is currently up to 685 miles for the year. She averages a little over 100 miles a month and up to 30 miles a week. She has run many 5k’s up to half marathons, enrolling in her first marathon – the Miami Marathon in January. She enjoys helping her friends train for races and loves everything running.
Jess has completed 7 half marathons, one full marathon and her second marathon seven weeks later in LA. She was training for her first 100 miler in Daytona, and then the Chicago Marathon in October and she finished! Now, she is focusing on speed. She also has experience with MMA and HIIT training. Jessie follows a plant based diet and trains 6 days a week.
Half/Full/ Ultra marathon
Tom has been in and out of running for decades, having completed a bunch of marathons, and several half’s. He eventually got involved with ultras, and completed the Keys 100 in 2009. After that things have slowed down, but there are several more marathons in the near future.
